Tyler Steele, assistant vice president, Medical & Media Relations at La Roche-Posay, has become a member of the American Skin Association’s Education Council. Steele’s vast experience in developing strategic consumer marketing plans will aid the Education Council in its ongoing efforts to have its messaging reach children and teenagers.

Steele joined the L’Oreal owned brand April 2013. Prior, he served as senior product manager at Galderma Laboratories.

ASA’s Education Council’s mission is to promote the education of children and teenagers regarding skin health. To date, ASA has reached over 12 million children, teachers, and parents. The council is chaired by Denise Kellen and Helen T. Shin, MD, Chief of Pediatric and Adolescent Dermatology at Hackensack University Medical Center.

“I am delighted to welcome Tyler to the Education Council and the ASA family. He will bring a wealth of marketing experience to the Education Council as it continues to educate children, parents and teachers across the nation on the importance of sun safety and skin health,” said Humberto C. Antunes, Chief Executive Officer of Nestle Skin Health S.A., Chairman of Galderma Pharma S.A., Vice Chair of ASA’s Board of Directors and Education Council member.
